USAID Morodok Baitang Champions Ecotourism Development in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, April 2, 2024 – The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Morodok Baitang is committed to promoting ecotourism as a sustainable value chain through close working with the community and mobilisation to take part in forest conservation.

The commitment was made following a recent visit by members of the Boeung Lum Kod Ecotourism Community Committee to Koh Samseb, Preah Dak, and Bakong Phoum Khnom Ecotourism Communities in Kratie province, according to USAID Morodok Baitang.

The visit provided a valuable lesson for the committee to create initiatives to better enhance their ecotourism communities.

USAID Morodok Baitang thanked the three communities for sharing knowledge and paving the way towards the conservation and development of Cambodia’s ecotourism communities in the future.
